Dre DeGuzman (he/him)
Data Manager
Dre DeGuzman serves as Minnesota Voice’s Data Manager. As the Data Manager, Dre works with partner organizations using the voterfile and other technologies to support, enhance, and execute programs. Immigrating to the USA from the Philippines, Dre can never seem to stay in one place and enjoys travelling. When not working on data or civic engagement, Dre is aspiring to join the 10 Million Mile Club. Halla Henderson (she/her)
Deputy Executive Director
Halla Henderson is the Deputy Executive Director of Minnesota Voice, and oversees day-to-day staffing and operations, as well as development to the overall strategic direction of the organization. Previous to MNV, Halla worked in student organizing and youth development at the local and state levels. In her spare time Halla continues to support youth-led initiatives, enjoys winning at trivia, spending time with her cats, and singing to Taylor Swift. She can be reached at halla@minnesotavoice.org.
Halley Norman (she/her)
Democracy Movement Organizer
Halley oversees legislative advocacy, policy organizing, and supports partners in pushing for the changes at the Capitol that their communities most need. She is focused on helping partners build their policy programs and navigate the legislative process. Halley previously worked in electoral politics, volunteer management, and elections administration. Outside work, she is passionate about climate and arts organizing, transit justice, reading, and house plants! She can be reached at halley@minnesotavoice.org.
HwaJeong Kim (she/her)
Executive Director
HwaJeong Kim was born in Daegu, South Korea, was raised on a small farm in Independence Minnesota and attended college at Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Since moving to the state’s capital city, Kim says, she rooted herself in local social movements, progressive electoral campaigns and her North End neighborhood. HwaJeong volunteered on her neighborhood district council, served on the Saint Paul Planning Commission and its zoning committee. She is an alumna of Nexus Community Partners Boards and Commissions Leadership Institute. She can be reached at hwajeong@minnesotavoice.org.
Katie Drahos (she/they)
Civic Engagement Manager
Katie Drahos is the Civic Engagement Manager at Minnesota Voice. They are leading the work with our native table as well as coordinating and supporting our voter registration, candidate forums, arts initiative and GOTV programs. Previous to MN voice they have worked within electoral politics including serving as Hennepin county commissioner Angela Conley’s campaign manager in 2018.
